Right now the only way to have completely privacy in sl is to have your own sim. But with a price tag of 3,400 a year many people can not afford to. I was wondering if the new technology of void sims might allow for a cheap, but private sim.
Could a normal private sim be, set up using void sim technology to be say , 4 sims? Each virtual sim having a toned down prim and avatar limit. if one sim can only handle 50 avatar. I guess each void sim would be limited to 12 avatars, and 1/4 the prim limit of a normal sim.
if it is possible would ll being willing to try it out? With four people willing to put down the money to buy, and rent the sim?

Hmm, that'd be interisting, half the cost, half the ammount of users in, shared resources. The only issue I could see here is, say you own a sim, which is on the same server as Joe Bob, now Joe Bob likes to expirement alot, and this can crash his sim, and the server, then you'd go down with it. Or, even more "harmless", is if lag would somehow carry over. I'm not sure what kinda testing LL has done, but it'd suck if your sim was laggy because someone on the same server was eating up 50% of the CPU power. The only way I imagine to compensate would be to do some sort of percentage checking and restrict that in some way maybe? I dunno. But if LL can some way make it so you don't get carry-over effects from someone else doing stuff in their sim, I'm all for it.
