How about an Off Topic forum?

'New in Second Life' is awful cluttered with OT posts... just a thought, but I'm sure someone's already suggested it before.

We used to have one but the forums were revamped to keep it focused on SL. It hasnt worked, because the community is going to talk and connect in an off topic format regardless.

We have been promised another revamp to include an off topic section, we are just waiting. In the meantime, we have been told its okay to post off topic if the thread starts out, "OT:".

But your right, it is cluttered right now. Really cluttered.

And could we have a forum called "Linden CVS Commits" too please?

OK, that was a joke, but seriously, the amount of feedback we get from LL is almost non-existent even on patch days.

It would be really nice if some days Cory would hammer out just a wee paragraph in Announcements about what they've been working on recently. It's a nice collaborative world, but the communication is so one-sided.

[Yes I know it would just be the source of complaints, but you can handle it. ]
