Rotation "snap to angle" settings

When we rotate an object with the mouse, it seems to snap to the nearest 5-degree angle. This is much like the positional "snap to grid" feature.

Would it be possible to let us set the "snap to angle" angle amount, and/or give us the option to NOT snap, like we have the checkbox for "snap to grid" able to be unchecked?

Thanks =D

You can put the cursor in any of the numeric fields in the edit menu and roll your scroll wheel to adjust in it fine increments.

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Thanks for pointing out the scroll wheel trick, I'll have to give that a try.

Unfortunatley, when adjusting attachments, I can't find any way to adjust finer than 5 degrees at a time, since the text boxes aren't available when editing attachment position/rotation... =(

Well for that, it takes a finer hand, but if you use the body of the rotation globe instead of the X, Y, and Z rings, you get as fine control as you want... It's not restricted to one axis, but you can at least get closer.

Another feature removed for no apparent reason.
Many versions ago attachments still allowed editing by the numbers in edit panel. Wasn't builder enough to realize how much loss this was till much later.

Lindens: Any reason attachments cant have the edit window info back?
Plus, I second the motion for control on Snap To angles.
