would it not make sense to order the group folders alphabetically instead of chronologically?

i know it would help me... when looking for a group it wouldn't have to be a 'hunt and peck' search, i would know where they should be in the list.

what say you?

Makes sense to me. And, once it is in place we will soon see the formation of, AAA SL Cool Group. :)

This idea seems like an extremely low priority to me. I would rather the Lindens concentrate on getting rid of the limit on the number of groups that one can belong to and also the categorization of groups.

Yeah, Alexander is right! The Lindens need to fix every other problem before they have one of the web people check "list alphabetically" on the group forum admin page! :rolleyes:

absolutely, group limits are much more important than alphabetically listing one page of the forums.

but then again, how long could that take? heck, i would do it on my lunch break if i worked at LL!

:p

Ps - Alex, have you submitted your site to LL for the Fan Sites section? if not, you should. very informative site and presents your company very well.

Good idea, Cybin, but until you end up in a position to regularly frequent the McDonalds up the road from Linden Labs, try this:

Edit->Find in This Page...

Those little menus at the top of the browser are occasionally useful, especially when certain web admins are not.

Actually, they can't do that. They have to move each manually.
IMO its better to fix problems that a lot of residents has in game, than fixing small annoyances for the fraction of residents that visits the forum.

I think it would make more sense to sort them into categories.

First a shout out to Cybin and big thanks! I have submitted my site to the Lindens for the Fan Sites, I hope to see it soon there! (as of this posting, it is not listed on the fan sites' page yet - Hello Lindens!)

Secondly, I must emphasize what are the real priorities for the Lindens. Alphabitizing the groups listing in the forums doesn't even rank in the top 1000! I would like to see them concentrate on the really important issues, like better game stability after each upgrade. How many of you noticed a sharp drop off in income for the week because people couldn't teleport or get to events?
