Idle idea while the grid is down; optionally, send & receive a small window of world-view with an IM partner, so you (by default) see their av's face or they can take a videophone and show you what's happening wehre they are, without you needing to TP to them. This is one little scenario where RL is ahead of SL: I can see video on my PC from the cam in the 3G phone my partner carries, but I can't get "previews" of what's happening where friends are in SL!
Having a "videophone" object could also be very hady for making smaller, neater screen-grabs, self-pics for profiles, and the like...
TOTALLY not a bugfix, DEFINITELY just a daft idea...
