(Oh god it's another newbie suggesting how to design the wheel again!)
1. Help island(where you learn to customize your Avavtar & fly) is good but there is nothing about how to deal with harassment that I noticed (correct me if I am wrong please), perhaps admiting there is a problem with griefing and advising us how to deal with it would be helpful as I have been caged twice and met a number of fellow newbies who don't know just to teleport away/report abuse
2. I am currently on a free account, I don't want land so why should I pay as much for an account as someone who does? There should be a premium account with no land owning as an option.
3. Restrict the free accounts so they cannot create objects outside designated sandboxes, this would help griefing would it not? I wonder how many people trying SL give up when they get trapped/harassed. (I am sure there is a reason why this is impossible and someone will correct me again!)
I already love SL and find it a great place to explore & just hang out in. 99% of people I meet are friendly and understanding. I take great pride in my Avatar and have already started spending $ on customizing him to my ideal alter ego (except he is not overweight!).

What I mean is I don't mind paying say $5 a month for a premium account without land if they decide to limit the timespan or restrict additional things on the free accounts. I have read other opinions that they would leave if the free account was scrapped though and appreciate this is only my opinion. |

The $10 a month IS the land owning fee. You just get the perk of also getting more L$ per month "free" (what is it now, 400 and 0?)

This is difficult because many objects depend on being able to create items to work. For example, to unpack clothes you have to rez the box, some gadgets or special effects have to rez objects in world, and similar. |
