I have no idea where forum (as opposed to in-game) Feature Requests go, but I would love to see a Business forum, completely seperate from the Land & Economy forum. There are a lot of business issues (and opportunities!) in SL, and a lot of business and marketing knowledge to be shared, and no place to do that currently. LL isn't currently bending over backwards to support business owners, but it would be really nice if we could support each other through advice and experience

I do find it interesting But it is heavily focused on scripting. I was hoping for a broader forum where house builders, clothing designers, gadget scripters, etc could build a resource together across business types.

SLDevelopers is oddly enough - targeted at developers. (Content creators.) Not to mention the fact that between the blogs, the wiki, and the forums - it's a very difficult site to navigate and keep track of. (Not a comment on the content, just the interface.) What the OP is asking for is a forum forum for businessmen. Now, while there is a largish overlap between the two groups, they are not congruent.

Sabrina, SLDevelopers is supposed to be for all those folks, too, but so far it does seem the scripters have been the most involved. Kinda unusual, really. Another group that might interest you is RL Work in SL. We don't have a forum here, but we do have inworld meetings and events. Elde, true, that stuff isn't exactly what Sabrina was after, but it's the closest thing I could think of that's already available! I wasn't trying to say that Sabrina had a bad idea or to disagree or anything. I was just pointing to an available resource that might be of interest.

Sabrina,
Apologies that sldevelopers.com is not quite the most easy to navigate. It's a lot of work, and there's only 3 of us right now working on it as an act of love.
If you'd like to help us improve the site, we'd love for more assistance and we can speak about what you want to do - or just post it in the forums.
For now, the sldevelopers forums is the most activity there.

From: Hiro Pendragon Sabrina,

Elde Eponym has a beef with your content accessibility, not me. I think SLD is a perfectly fine site, but then I'm a RL web developer and if I can wade my way through sourceforge, SLD is not a barrier to me. Were I a LSL scripter, I'd be all over that. I'm not I want a broad business forum, different than the Land & Economy trainwreck. And frankly, since LL is out pimping the "make money with SL!" line, they should host it right here. I don't object to an outside business forum, but I believe that LL should host and support one on secondlife.com to demonstrate a base-line commitment to businesses.
