Allow the average non scripter to customize their behavior using the gesture panel --or a similar panel-- and save similarly to current gestures - de/activate, in folders.
Also these gestures can be in turn overridden by object-based overriders.

My idea is basically to drop gestures into/out-of a sub-panel which lists all the behavior states. Key mapping will be automatic (ie, walk forward will always map to the up-arrow key + wasd).

I can script but many people I meet have no idea where to start and are frightened of it.

A nice idea...

But if it's just a matter of not being able to afford a pre-made overrider, Francis Chung's is available free at several locations in world.

overriders aside it would be nice to do that with some built in system instead of everyone having a big script running at all times. Frances is my heroine but to be honest it is kinda clunky.

Yes :( UI in SL is hard to do well. If you want to input text of any sort, you have two choices: Chat, or notecard.

I've been wanting to be able to render and get responses back from HTML widgets, in a dialog or something. Imagine that - if you're configuring your animation overrider, instead of fiddling with a notecard, you get a dialog box, with drop down combo boxes for each animation.

Give me THAT feature. Then you'll have an easier to configure AO :)
