Being able to mirror a prim or linked group of prims would be very useful. :)

I was begging for this back in beta. Perhaps in the future...

This would be great. It's so hard to figure out how to mirror a rotated object, especially when the three rotation numbers keep re-normalizing on me. =/

I endorse this idea/feature. Would make building things like Arms so much faster.

Better Scale tool would do it

The scale tool is probably the weakest by far in the construction toolset. Problems:

- always scales about middle; should be able to scale about opposite side
- Can't scale in two dimensions, only one or three
- Can't do negative scale

Basically, if you can scale in one dimension through negative values, you get mirroring for free. To make it work nice, there should be an optional snap at -1, which can be toggled with a hot key without letting go of the mouse.

In addition, scaling and other tools need to have better camera response when the mouse hits the edge of the screen. Only position seems to do this and not all the time.

I built a Mirrorator script few months back. It takes a lot of prep and cleanup, but it works. It will wok better in 1.3 with the new prim edit command, so I may start selling it then.
