For vendors, many places require you join a group in order to keep easier tabs on who own's what on the land etc. I find that my groups fill up really quickly, and am always having to delete group I don't necessarily want to in order to join another. This means my social groups are very limited and dissapearing as I join vendor groups. I know I could ask or rejoin groups if I want to edit my vendors on rental property, but there has got to be an alternative method that could be set up or something to make this easier for vendors and mall/land owner's alike.

right now the only thing you can do is give your stuff to an alt and have the alt join the group and setup your shop. Additionally you can setup a quick access object ingame to access your funds on that alt.

I've thought of that.. but seems such a pain as well. I know you gotta make do with what ya got, so why I was asking for some kind of improvement in this area. What is this quick access object you speak of and how to go about doing it?

I think it's a prim with a simple script such as:
CODE

key YOUR_KEY = "" //you will need to make an oject that does llOwnerSay(llGetOwner()); for your primary account, the string spat out will go in in this variable (between the quotes)

default
{
state_entry()
{
llRequestPermissions(llGetOwner(), PERMISSION_DEBIT);
llListen(99, "", YOUR_KEY, "");
}
//run_time_permissions event suggested to make sure that "yes" is clicked, I'm leaving this out for the example
money(key id, integer amount)
{
}
listen(....)
{
integer amount = (integer)message;
llGiveMoney(YOUR_KEY, amount);
}
}

You can make it more complex, depending on how secure you want it (like only you can pay the object (i.e. giving money to your alt), etc. This would be in an object owned by your alt situated whereever you'd like it to be (behind a vendor?)
Enjoy.
