I don't know if this has been suggested before, but it's an idea I have been thinking about for a while.
When I decided to get land for the landless, I had to choose which I wanted, PG or Mature. I went with mature because I do not want to get suspended for having a naked avatar or accidently slipping with some profanities.
So a few days later, I get the land I requested, Mature area. It's all fine and dandy for a while, but then after a short time, a porn shop appears next to me. One of the windows for my cafe looks directly into their house. Since I chose a mature area, it is entirely allowable for them to put their porn shop next to my cafe. If I don't like it, I should move.
So I consider moving my lot to a PG land, but then I remember the times I got yelled at for my naked avatar, or the time my friend got suspended for language.
My suggestion is that maybe Second Life would be more satisfying for people like me if there was an "in between" rating for sims. Maybe PG13 or Mildly Mature. Something that allowed some explicit language, naked avatars, but not pornography. I just want a place where I can chill without being bombared with "watch your language" or "free xxx."

Actually, it's not OK to have porn, phalluses, indecent stuff out in the open or viewable from somebody outside the structure where the material resides.
You should ask the porn shop to not make their materials viewable from outside their shop.

Wow, I didn't know that. I will have to talk to my neighbors then. But I still think PG13 would be a good idea, I still do not like truly "mature" things happening on my lot and such, I think a medium area would be nice.

Oh, yes, lets have G, PG, PG13, R, X, and Anarchy. Yes, lets have a bazillion was of describing things.
There's no need for a 'middle' area. Hell, the Lindens have allowed nudity on PG areas before. We've got enough options as it is.

Another reason why I am a weapons manufacture, if some one jumps into the middle of me and a group of a friends talking like nice normal mature people then its out with one of my guns and off to another sim they go. I dont tolerate immaturity well.
