When I'm getting emails from group things like votes called for, etc... It would really help I think to know what group was sending me this. Right now it doesn't, just "message from SL" and the name of the person calling the vote. Was this for a reason of privacy or just an oversight? ...sorry, but this forum has become too deep, wide and such to go treasure-hunting for golden threads and my group mail is just ridiculous of late... What do you guys think? Good idea/bad idea? Cheers.

Hmm, does it not put the group name in the sender, ie your mail client would say "From: MyGroup"? I can't log-in into my e-mail from here, but I could have sworn that's what it did.

On Group Notice offline notification emails, yes it does. But the Vote propsal msg, no--I was surprised too. It gives the proposer's name where the group is on the rest. THis is what you get (some info blanked): __________________________ From: <name of originator> ((not group name like the rest)) To: <your name here> Subject: Message From Second Life <name of proposer here> has proposed to vote in Second Life. i just wanna make a vote to propose we stop making all these voting proposals
lol....and yes i had lots of fun makin this vote to stop voting lol
