Prop: 65 - FreeDragging an itemFeature Detail :"Reinstate the ability to free drag an item whilst in edit, if not as default then as an option." The proposition was created by Alexa Hope. This feature is used by many people for free form movement of prims while building statues, prim avatars, and the like. Vote Yes On Prop 65!

Hear hear!
At least make it an option again. I liked the old system, and I can't work under these new conditions. let the drag freeeee!
I've already dumped my shop and tiered down to basic over this...
I don't wanna have to give up on SL... :/

As an Option, yes. I myself do not want to use Free Drag as I would often mistakenly drag items and I'm comfortable with the new tools. But I respect others want for it.

Options, always options please An 'unlock free drag' sort of checkbox option would be a good thing. I tend to lay my landscape out in a nature-like chaotic and loose manner, so when placing plants or trees for instance, it's nice to just shunt 'em about free 'n' easy, rather than 'up a bit, down a bit, left a bit etc with the individual X-Y-Z planes. At the same time I really hated being able to accidently nudge things out of place at times, so I do prefer it to be locked out by default. ..but SL without the Big Bird is unthinkable

Got my vote (even though I am getting used to the new ways).

I have re-discovered how to freedrag, and though it's a wee bit awkward, it works for me.... so I'm back in business. :>

okay , two questions.. 1. How do you work around to restore free drag? 2. What are" inflammatory Tailfeathers" ?

no, the new drag select instead of free move has saved me from accidentally moving a prim several times. I think you can still free drag with the hand tool anyway (need to check).
