Pg Sim Patrol

My suggestion is to implement a new SL voluntary "job" titled "PG Sim Patroller."

PG Sim Patrollers could monitor content in the PG sims and return inappropriate mature content to the owner if necessary. Abuse reports would be filed, and lindens would save a lot of time, focusing on the more important aspects of moderation and help.

However, they could not just go around removing anything they wanted because Linden Labs could check activity logs frequently on each patroller. Residents would have to be atleast 30 days or older to qualify for this position. Much like live help, this would be voluntary. If the user has any infractions on his or her record, this position would not be an option.

Wow, I thought this was a joke until I saw that 21 people have voted on it. I suggest this proposal be retitled "Let's Give God Mode to the Bluenoses". You're newish, Sugary so let me explain why this will never happen.

1. Allowing players to return objects not on their land is unprecedented
   
2. There already exist Abuse Reports for violative content
   
3. Monitoring the patrol would be at least as time consuming as handling abuse reports, likely moreso
   
4. The amount of havok, disputes, and whining would be enormous
   
5. The idea of players walking around with enforcement powers with nothing better to do than seek out offending content is farking scary
   

Aside from that, great idea

If, for some reason, you happen to walk in on two AV bumping pixels in a PG sim and you are offended, then report abuse on the AV in question.
