Had this happen to me and thought of it as a feature recommendation..

I'm at work, can't get into SL but I can communicate via email to IM inworld, etc.

Friend of mine wanted an object I had made. I would love to be able to login to drop it on his profile, but alas, I can't get in from work.

Feature:
Either from email or from the secondlife.com website, be able to transfer objects in your inventory to other players' profiles. Perhaps even extend this to money.

Interface would be 2 lists, side by side. Left side is your current inventory. Right side is your friends list. Also have a small input box on the top if you are transferring to someone that is not your friend. "Type in the name of the person you want to transfer to."

Clicking on your friend auto-populates the name submission field.

Click on your object, enter a name or choose your friend, then transfer.

Similar setup can be used for transferring money.

Ok thats it.

It seems like a great idea, but it could be used for some serious abuse. If someone decided they wanted to lag the servers they could get a bunch of people to just continuously refresh the page on which the inventory is listed. Also, for people with huge inventories, this can become a major problem. I have almost 6,000 items in my inventory: a simple listbox would be near impossible for me to use. There'd need to be a search feature, which means more strain on the servers. In addition, giving HTTP access to our inventories is a bit risky in and of itself in the event an exploit is found...
