more control over the "depth" option on the snapshot options

I think this should probably be quite simple to implement...

basicly what I would like to have was the ability to set the at which distance the black starts and at which distance things would be full white.

the way it is now, the little control we have is setting the max draw distance, which even when set to minimum, stretch the depth gradient so much that small objecs (like avatars) often ocupy at most 3 depth levels, making them be not more than a flatish silhouete in the deepth map

in the case of a avatar for example, I could set the gradient start to somthing like one meters, and the gradient end to somthing like 3 meters, that produce enough depth resolution to more faithfully map the avatar

an example that clearly shows the problem (if you can "see" stereograms) /53/ac/127514/1.html

Heck, I had to go remove a vote to do that. Got rid of my vote of "Timestamps in IM" :P
And for some reason I seem to only have 9 votes now o..O
