I would very much like to see support for 5.1, etc. surround systems. Most major games already have this, as it is a key element for creating an immersive virtual environment.

I'm not familiar with the Mac setup, but as far as the PC client goes, I'd assume this would be relatively easy to implement as it already uses the surround-capable DirectX API. Thoughts?
