It would be nice if the 'Buy Land' option automaticly excluded purchase by an individual (or group, if possible) that was on the parcel's Ban list. Then one could list it openly for sale, but a 'Bad neighbor', land swooper, or a griefer who you had banned would be unable to buy it, if they were on your ban list.
Surely if you have banned someone from your parcel, it is reasonable to assume you would also be unwilling to sell them your land? And if you DID want to take the money from the 'bad neighbor' and run, you could just un-ban them first.

Seems sensible, but why go to the work of stopping them doing it when they can just create an alt, buy it anyway, and xfer it back to their main?

True. Perhaps a better option would be a way to set land "for sale with owner approval". Clicking "Buy Land" sends a date and time stamped IM to the owner, indicating the name of the person that wants to buy the land, and the parcel name and location? Possibly with an option for the would-be buyer to send a message along with the notification, such as a counter-offer on the price? Then the owner could choose who to contact and sell it to.

An interesting new idea, Ceera, though some short, clear explanations as to why it is important may help a lot in arena of ideas battling for priority.
