Im sure these features have already been brought up, but let me bring them up again. Make Busy mode selective between IMs and people standing within range to chat.
Also make it selective between just one individual you wish to speak with or a few in IM and/or range chat.
Do away with the ability to map your friends. If someone wants you to come to their location, they will invite you!
