No its not a joke
 I just posted in the classfieds main section thinking people would be able to reply with thoughts etc there... So I'd like to EITHER.. Be able to delete your own posts AS LONG AS no one has yet replied to them.. Or the ability to report them for deletion to admin.. Thoughts? _____________________

Well I think it's a good idea. I posted a thread the other day then immediatly realised it was irrelivant, now it's sitting here with a "please ignore/delete me" message.

Although... thinking about it, does it really matter if there's empty/redunant threads hanging about? I mean, look at sime of the rubbish that gets posted around here.

You can copy the url of your post, and send a forum PM to Jeska Linden and request to have a post move or whatever, ,being sure to provide the url. The post number alone might be sufficient.

You can report your own post by taking the report URL and pasting your post id at the end of it (note that the post id is different than the thread id).
If Zapoteph wanted to report his original post in this thread he could use this link: http://forums.secondlife.com/report.php?p=774190 which is the url anybody else would use to report it as well, the only difference being everybody but Zapoteph has quick access to that link via the Report Bad Post button. |
