Hi there,
I have a minor issue with the (Windows) Second Life client installer--it always creates desktop icons and Start Menu icons. I have moved my SL icons on my Start Menu to a different folder; but every time I install an update it creates a new Second Life folder in my Start Menu. It also always creates a desktop icon, even though I would prefer no icon to be created.
Could the installer be modified to give the user the option of opting out of the installation of said icons? Several other software packages I've installed have this as a user option, so it should be fairly trivial to implement.
