The SL Economy is ripe for manipulation by alt accounts. You can only have 10 alt's right but all it takes is 10 people seeding the idea of a market crash have an impact of the price of $L's. A protectionary measure is required that allows us to see the connection between alt accounts. We need to see ALL the alt accounts that a poster owns. Or perhaps only let the 1 account per RL first name to access the forums. Please, think of the corporations!

Yeah, one account on the forums is a good idea.

Unfortunatley, it's pretty easy to set up ALTs without Linden Labs knowing it. Nice idea though.

I know! Instead of limiting alts, how about moderators that keep spam down? You know, so we don't have seven different threads all about the worthlessness of fake money, all posted within a few hours of each other?

Oh, I regularly argue with myself in the forums. My favorite tactic is to accuse myself of having alts agreeing with me.

It's kinda fun. I just use a proxy server to keep SecondLife none the wiser!

Alternatively, one could think about the concept of currencies a little and maybe conclude that currencies as we know them in 1L do not have natural stability in virtual worlds.

Rather than trying to prop up artificially an unnatural import from another domain, maybe we could then start looking for an alternative approach based on some different, and more inherent, virtual property or value.
