Right now lots of get tons of offline im's for various reasons, in-world objects going out of world being one, customers another, because a group message went on and on etc.

What I am proposing here is a feature/fix that would do one (or more) of the following....
  1. Seperate offline im's into groups with different queue limitations.
  2. Ability to not queue specific groups of ims (i.e. ignore Off world messages)
  3. Expand the queue limit. I am not sure what the limitation currently is, but it seems too small.
Anyone know why they are limited in the first place? I'm certain there is a logical reason behind it, I would be interested in knowing what it is. Anyway, if you have ideas toss em out. Furthermore, this need not be a UI functionality, settings.ini is fine with me, cant vouch for anyone else though.

(Also, I am aware of the abilty to have off-line messages redirected to e-mail, I am seeking a solution that doesnt require users to create filters in their e-mail to filter what is effectively unwanted spam when it could (possibly) just as easily be disabled in-game)

I like these ideas Neil!! :)

And I agree the queue limit could be a bit bigger. I think the reason there *is* a limit though is to keep someone from spamming a person with a thousand or more IMs to their email box at one time.
