Now, this is a rather simple feature

Having read the forums there is an anti land baron mode of thought..

or should I say anti non ethical land baron mode of thought..

land is sold for dirt cheap often accidently, the land barons will cry fair game as there is a confirmation button, though sometimes this is clicked accidently..by people in a hurry.

so my simple solution

Once the sell land button has been clicked and the confirmation pressed, the land does the following

1. The land itself changes color to denote that it is for sale, something that can't be missed
2. A large huge ginormous for sale sign pops up over the property not only denoting that the land is for sale, but for what price it is being sold at too..even the novice land owner will then see something is up...and can quickly change it...
3. All land actions require the seller to confirm that they wish to sell the land once an offer has been made... NOTE: all transactions in second life are instantanous, and only give a confirmation note...not a "Person has made an offer do you wish to accept" note with a yes/no option..

This option SHOULD apply to land sales only.. and should be the DEFAULT setting for land sales.. which can be turned off should the land owner wish.

The note that pops up should say

John LandBaron has offered you 2L for your land do you wish to sell your land to John Landbaron for 2l?

YES NO

then when either button is pushed another note pops up saying

You have Accepted/Declined John Landbarons offer of 2l for your land are you sure you wish to continue with this transaction?

YES NO START AGAIN

that, should be the end of landbarons taking unfair advantage of newbie landowners..

theres no reason this option should not be included..I expect a flood of complaints from landbarons, but its the ethical choice. So vote for it http://secondlife.com/vote/get_feature.php?get_id=1739
