Example: if I'm doing a texturing of an object and I wand to duplicate texture settings of a primface I already have, I want to be able to use an eyedropper-like system to pull the settings from another prim.
Limitations: You need the texture already in your inventory, or the object has to belong to you.
Sound okay?

Ever try llGetPrimitiveParams([PRIM_TEXTURE,side_number_here]);?Yes... bug your local scripter today! Something like this could be done with touch and a script.

Copy and Apply Style
04-13-2005 20:39
Lots of programs have a copy style and paste style. The approach Mr. Gomez mentions is an SL version of that idea. One could have a dialog box come up to allow for selection of what properties to copy, or maybe just copy them all and allow selection of which to paste.
Being built into the interface would be better though.
Now if we just could have the llSelectedItems() function to make pasting the properties into all the items selected simple as pie.
