The No Copy setting on a vendor's product protects that product, and that's fine.
But having to shift that ONE-COPY-ONLY product from one avatar dress set to another can be a serious pain.
Here's a for instance:
I may have several beautiful pieces of bling jewelry that are an important "signature look" for me. And i want them to appear automatically as a part of every clothing set I have, so that all I have to do is drag and drop the new clothing folder on my av, an whaaalah, everything is there, including all the one-copy-only pieces.
Right now, if I want to wear jewelry pieces, or genitals, or similar one-copy-only items for a new clothing set, I have to go find where each of the one unique copy objects reside, and click on each to wear. Finding the folder with the clothing set where I last used an item can be a real pain, and even if I keep them in isolated folders, outside the clothing sets, I still have to go to each product folder and click to wear that product, every time I choose to wear the piece or pieces on my current av.
My FEATURE PROPOSAL is this:
That anytime a new new clothing set is created, the one-copy-only products I am currently wearing, be NOT transferred to that folder, but AUTO-LINKED BY A SHORTCUT to the one-only-copy product folder where it currently resides.
Additionally, if I wish to ADD a one-only-copy product to an existing clothing set, I should be able to right-click on that product, and select a CREATE SHORTCUT to this product, which I can then paste into any clothing set I want.
If these features were implemented, I would have the intuitive freedom and ease of placing one-copy-only products into MANY clothing sets only one time, without in any way violating the one-copy-only product protection.
I think the system cries out for these AUTO-SHORTCUT and CREATE SHORTCUT features links to one-copy-only products. Whaddayah think?
