I'd like to be able to give someone an invitation to join a group by dragging an invitation card to their avatar or dropping it on their profile drop area.

Or just drag from the group list to their avatar, get a popup that asks invite as officer or invite as member.

Anyone could create an invitation card for an open join group, only officers for invitation only groups.

The open groups, select the group, select the invite tab, click on add member, enter their name, click find, click select, click ok procedure seems needlessly intricate.
