When I pull up a profile of someone I never met, but talk to all the time, as in the BUILDER's GROUP, the rating button is disabled. Several people are avid helpers, facilitating finding things and sharing knowledge, even if they never actually make a prim. Why can't we rate these people?
In the current SL release, you have to be friends first and some people may not want to use that feature because it is also linked to mapping. I think we should always be able to rate someone. This would be as simple as allowing the rating on the profile. The button is already there. Please enable it.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. You can rate everyone without being friends. The only requirement is, that you can right-click the person. Rating via profile does not work.
When you see a nicely done build in-world, you can rate the creator (I believe) through right-clicking, too, so please clarify your point of the poll.
