Perhaps a tab in the profile where one can list items they want and location; so people, if willing, can go and buy the item and pass it on to them?
Just came to my mind during all this missing inventory stuff, I dont want to re buy my items but wouldnt hurt to put it on a wish list for the generous souls to buy for me
