llSit(key id), this function could make avatar with key id sit on the prim that contains the script. This function would be useful for teleporting with vehicles(you can rerez vehicle from attachment) so that you won't have to manually resit after you teleport. This is especially annoying if you are flying an aircraft and fall down so you have to fly up again to sit in the aircraft.

I don't know a lot about scripting so can't say how plausible it'd be.. But I love it!

To avoid that someone uses it excessively it could be limited to run 16 times per minute for example, so that your objects in total wouldn't in any time interval be allowed to send more sit permission requests than this limit. I don't see how it would make everyone unsafe if implemented like that.

I thinks it's obvious if something like this was implemented that appropriate permissions would have to be granted in order to force a sit.

*imagin a grifter drop down a couple of innocent prim in a sim, which ask a simple usual permission dialogs to every peoples nearby and Wuuf! You found yourself on the opposite side of the world* lol I can imagine what it can be. But really, I might be useful :P

I would suggest llSitOnTarget(key target)
Where target would be an object.

Then you could wear an item that would make you sit.

By wearing the object you have given permission to sit on what ever the script you are wearing does.

It could be told what to sit on using listen or it could use sensor to detect objects to
sit on as well.

i fully support
integer llSitOnObject(key objectID)
for attachments.

if the object is an attachment or the object doesn't exist then it returns 0; otherwise it returns 1. returning 1 doesn't mean success, just that it hasn't failed horribly.
