Before I post this, let me just say that if you don't see the need to be able to use these services from inside the SL client, then just skip reading this. ;P
I wrote a mini guide on how to embed http://www.meebo.com into SL using the setting.ini hacklet to change F1 help into a different webpage.  Basically you press F1 and it loads the Meebo site which you can use to acess a simple interface for AIM/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo. I run SL in window mode, and the lagg F1 brings is horrible, i find having MSN open switching to those easier. Other may be differnt, either way, good job!
