As a thank you to all our slprofiles.com members, we're now very proud to announce SL Gadget! A hidden tool you can wear on your avatar which will enhance your Second Life experience:
Avatar Scan - Area and Chat range alerts: now you'll finally know when your friends are mapping you. Our build in avatar scan will inform you who is in your neighborhood.
Easy/Fast Teleporting System: After you record your favorite second life places, you can teleport back to them with one simple command. Fast teleports are being used for teleports within the same sim (1000m), while the map feature is used for distant teleports.
Record Second Life Usage Stats: Records your Second Life Usage stats which are shown on your profile (no need to use SL Stats if you're wearing our SL Gadget). You can of course hide these stats if you would like to keep those private.
Receive Private Messages Sent from SLProfiles.com: Informs you're being paged from our site or when a private message has been sent to your profile.
Mini Blogs: Are you organizing an event in Second Life or quickly wanted to share something with the rest of the world while playing Second Life? Why not use our Mini Blogs which can be sent from Second Life! All mini-blogs are linked to your profile and have a teleport available.
Auto Update Feature: When we add new features to our SL Gadget, you'll automatically receive an update --- and yes, updates are on the way already!
Anyway - I sure had fun programming this little Gadget and I've tried to handy implement features that I was missing in Second Life. If you have suggestions on how to further improve our Gadget, make sure to let me know.
