Without the risk API any money someone buys from you would prolly be taken by LL. Its safer to stick with the LindeX and SLX and cheaper to

Their blog infers (in German) that they are using the Risk API when they buy L$ from a resident. They do not mention usage of the Risk API when someone buys L$ through them.
