SLB Down?

I've been getting a Time-Out error for the last few hours on SLBoutique.com whenever I try to open the page, which means I can't update anything, or check sales records, or help any customers who claim to have purchased anything through SLB.

After the screw ups on listings, and the non-responsive vendors, and the constant screens-full of spam from those vendors... I give up.

Little Rebel Designs will no longer be adding new items to SLBoutique. If they ever get it fixed, (including Search actually -searching- for what you search for... odd concept, I know) then I hope someone lets me know. Until then... Ciao SLB!

Hi,
I checked out your items on SLBoutique, all seemed fine. Maybe clear your IE cache (assuming you have windows os) and try again?

please stop to paying for this game.while we are paying thousands off non paying members show up in this so called game ( LL is playing a game with us) and we cant properly play....

It's a shame really, SL is screwed up the last week(s).
Sorry to hear about this because I love Little Rebel Design.

I hope things will get fixed soon, and the Lindens should do something against spammers.
Damn I hate this.

Thanks for the advice, AWM. I use Firefox, but even so it wasn't a cache problem. (I do appreciate the attempt to help though.) I was getting a blank page at Log In, and when I tried to reload or go Back, kept getting the message that the site was down for maintenance. Since I was receiving sales notices at the same time, I knew the site wasn't actually down. (I was finally able to log in this morning, after 2 days of no response from the page, and still none from Support.)

Destina... No, I won't stop paying for the game until it no longer pays for iteself, but good luck with that campaign. ;) I have no real problem with unpaying residents, though I do wish they would do away with unverified residents.

Thanks Herbie! Anything I added to the site before this latest screw up is still there and available, and I still have my main store in Gallinas if you want Little Rebel items. I appreciate the encouragement. :)

The problem could lie mostly with Vista, to be fair, but I'm so frustrated with the whole process that I just don't feel like bothering at the moment. All in all, it's just a collection of problems with both SLB specifically, and SL vs. Vista generally, that has made me decide to ease-up my involvement for a while. Once I'm back on XP and SL has a span with no database errors (snicker) then I'll go back to creating for the in-world store.

Oh Oh.... there are problems with Vista? Didn't you get SP10 from them already, they have been launched for a whole week or more? :eek: To be serious, I have just ordered Vista Premium edition (basic is reallllll basic) to go with my new 'futureproof' PC <sniggers>... I still have my trusty XP to hand....

As for waiting until SL gests sorted.... you gonna be away that long???? :rolleyes:
