Hi everybody! We're pleased to announce the launching of a new forums site for the community, www.slorums.net
Why join us, instead of the other dozens of forums sites proliferating out there now? Well, first of all, it doesn't have to be "instead of"! But join SLorums.net, and you can count on.....

* Fun, friendly forums dedicated to the SL community - we're not part of a larger network, or run by a larger company. We're an SL-only site run by residents of Second Life.

* We're also a forum-only website - go to www.SLorums.net, and you'll go directly to the forums! No dozens of other pages to navigate. No worry that features you never use make the site slower. "Just the forums, m'aam".

* Our intuitive, easy-to-use setup offers a lot of features without being overwhelming.

* Separate Classifieds system similar to the in-world system.

* Sub-forums for rent to groups - e-mail staff@slorums.net for more information.

* Ads only for Second Life products. No generic advertising here - these are products you care about, made by people you know!

* In-world validation, so you can be sure people are who they say they are. No anonymous nasty comments, no worry about people using your name. You register, you go in-world, you click our terminal, and you're validated. It's just that simple.

* We'll happily accept applications to be a moderator. The site isn't run by a clique, or a big business. We're here to make the SL community better.

This Sunday we'll be having a grand launch event from 1-6PM, featuring live music and prizes at The Bronze in Alderia!
