Our new boutique--cacao...couture from the chocolate lands--features African textiles with contemporary fashion. Its new blog http://cacaocouture.wordpress.com not only shows the new releases, it discusses textiles and will soon have features on RL African designers, textile and dress history, and more!

Tamsin - Very nice website! I loved the blue slip on shoes - planning on stopping in- If u r inteested, there are some cool building classes in world with an African theme and a great teacher- if u like drop me an IM and I will send u the LM.

Thanks so much! I bet the class you mention is Szvanna's! She is a friend, yet I've never taken her building classes, and have heard what a terrific teacher she is! Yes, would love to take one--thanks!

Hmm- I don't recall the teacher's name- I will have to look. I took the African hut one and the mud fireplace class. i know she played some great African music as we worked and I enjoyed her teaching style. Very one on one.
