From my blog, http://cheyennepal.blogspot.com/Written August 1, 2007 What the F***, Lindens?!! I can't TELL you how damned tired I am of being ruthed. Of not being able to teleport. Of not being able to open notecards. Of not being able to open scripts. Of not being able to delete objects. Of having my inventory empty. Of not being able to go into Appearance. Of not being able to change clothes. Of scripted objects not working. Of not getting repeated IMs from friends. Of not being able to access my lindens. Of buying objects that don't arrive. Of my eyeballs turning black. And I can't TELL you how concerned I am that the Linden blog hasn't made a single peep about the widespread grid breakdown. That really has me worried. Usually one or the other Lindens is all over problems like this, announcing hourly how things are going. But not this time. Only silence. When it all started on Sunday, I gave the Lindens the benefit of the doubt. It WAS Sunday, after all, and maybe the people who were on duty were just overwhelmed. But then Monday came. And Tuesday. And Wednesday. And in an hour, it will be Thursday. And nothing on the blog. No notice on the login page. What the F***, Lindens?!!

Only one of those blog entries mentions a few of the problems, and it shows [RESOLVED] by now. They all show [RESOLVED]. If someone reads the post today, on Thursday, after a week of horror, it looks like this: Some minor problems last Saturday, resolved on the same day. Search disabled for a while on Sunday, a few login issues on Tuesday. That's it. Nowhere does the SL outsider get a realistic impression - that the asset server is falling apart, people lose valuable items and no one dares to buy anything. Btw, the grid is down right now and parts of the website as well. No blog entry on what might be going on. We will see one as soon as everything is supposedly [RESOLVED], I guess. And it will be only minor issues that were [RESOLVED]. Edit: now there's finally a blog update... and it sounds as if the outage, due to a 5 day old problem being ignored and getting worse and worse, would just be a regular and planned maintenance. We don't get informations anymore, just propaganda.

You obviously dont know where to look for listed complaints! Some actually do show a small % of time allocated to fix the problems! If you find the site! But dont expect to see that resolved issues on the login page is actually resolved as it usually comes down some 2 hrs later with the same problem and another message some time later
