Once upon a time, young men were told to "go west," so that they could find opportunities that didn't exist for them in their present locations. After getting as west as they wanted to be, these pioneers had to think differently, do things differently, to survive in a different place. Now people can "go virtual" for the same chance at new opportunities. ...and I might break my wrists applauding you.  Good blog, really enjoyed it. <3 _____________________

Very well-written and inspirational, Katt....and this coming from someone who has been either anti-blog or starts blogs, posts twice and never touches them again LOL
As a one time aspiring journalist, whose life took a different turn...I miss writing, but lack the creativity and eloquence that you posess. Please keep it up, I will be checking in often!! _____________________

I agree. The first time I wrote to him I asked how I could eat healthier when I disliked so many of the healthy foods (such as yogurt and dark leafy greens). He wrote back basically saying to get over it lol. He said that I might not like them the first few times, but if I kept trying them, my taste buds would adapt. He was very nice. well done, former boss. I vote for Drupal but you'd need geek help setting it up. Are you volunteering?  I miss writing, but lack the creativity and eloquence that you posess. Maybe blogs just aren't your thing. I'm sure you would be very creative and eloquent once you found your niche. You could always give newspaper writing a try.  _____________________
