I don't think you can do that, Cienna.
But, more to the point, why should you care? Your Profile is SUPPOSED to be the place where you put everything you want everyone you meet to know about you.
Whenever I meet someone new, one of the first things I do is check their Profile. It tells me a lot about whether that person and I have things in common, or are not likely to share interests at all.
It isn't rude to check Profiles. It's a way of getting acquainted quickly.

I think you might be able to get some kind of feedback about people checking the web tab in your profile. Wouldn't necessarily indentify what avatar it was.

Another game you used to get a message in local chat saying "Joe Smith has a closer look at Amanda", but it had inferior graphics to SL, so text descriptions were detailed, perhaps a similar message in private chat.
