Any del.cio.us User able to give advice?

Hey is anyone able to explain how to get del.cio.us to work the way I want it.
I have been looking at site I am bit puzzled how to get it to do what I want.
Any able to enlighten me?

You didn't give a clue as to what it is you want to do with del.icio.us and what the problem with getting it do it is.

So, what is it you are wanting to do?

I am just trying to figure out how to use it.
How I merge blogs or if I do?
How do I link things?
Pretty much looked at guide and I didn't get it.
I will relook when I am less tired maybe I am just missing something.

Trying to find alternative to AOL journal or deviant art that does tags for me that I can post art images, stories and links from my explorating the web and SL but not really sure what the best way to go that is affordable preferablly free and not to hard or not so buggy to use.

I may not be the right person to be answering this question but sometimes you got to take what you get instead of what you need.

My understanding of del.icio.us is that it is basically an online bookmarking service. Is that really what you want?

I've had del.icio.us installed more than once, when browser re-installs have caused it's custom buttons and such to vanish I didn't notice because I didn't find it useful at all.

A search for "better than del.icio.us" yields ma.gnolia.com which offers private bookmarks, spaces in tab names, and can import tags from delicious.

Anything with two periods in it's name separating meaningless word fragments to add up to a word with no meaning particularly relevant to its purpose gets about ten thousand points off in my evaluation, on a scale of one to ten.

One reviewer examined a number of social bookmarking and search tools and recommends Yahoo MyWeb over delicious.
