SecondCast is doing a live event called “Fashion Dash” in partnership with SecondStyle magazine on November 15th at 8PM SLT.
The hosts will select six contestants from the studio audience present at the start of the event. A registration box will be located at the event venue, tentatively the SecondCast Theater (Midnight City), for people to register to be a contestant. The definite location will be announced in the coming weeks, as its possible the Theater will be too small for the event.
Each contestant receives L$1,000 to go shopping against the clock. They have 30 minutes to buy an outfit including hair, clothing, shoes, and accessories, that most closely resembles the style or theme selected by the hosts at the start of the show.
When they return from their shopping dash, the audience judges the contestants based how closely they resemble the theme and has best used their L$1,000.
Two winners will take away L$5,000, be featured in a future issue of SecondStyle magazine, and receive other fine swag from Second Life content creators.
