Lindens have taken my land

a week ago i came into sl to find that my 8704 sq m of land had been taken out of group. So I went to my account to find out that the lindens say I no longer own any land, so now of course they are going to take the group. One day you come on have land next you have none. I have been a week now trying to get some linden any linden to help me but have they NO. This is such a great business that they can take land you pay for and don't even give you a phone number you can call and talk to them. How do i get my land back from czar linden? Any ideas or help out there.

Who owns the land now? Did others in the group have the kind of role allowing them to sell the land? Did you file a support ticket?

Part of the problem may have been that you need at least two people in your group for it to remain active. If you were the only one left and this land was group land then that might have been it….i cant say for sure.

I disolved a group and the land could not be edited.. (land settings) it was owned deeded to a group, I forgot.. thank goodness the SIM owner (even though my ex BF) was in a kind mood that day, he just reclaimed it and I bought it back for 0.. Maybe you need to contact SIM owner.. just a though.

But if while you were away you did not pay tier.. then hey .. do not know what to tell you..

As of this minute the others in the group still have their land, mine is only one missing. There are 6 members of group, 2 of us have land in it i had most. Whole story is sunday March 31st i had 8704 sq m of land. I came in monday checked land and saw that we were that much short in land donation and it was all the land i donated. So I went to my account on webpage, and to my surprise it says I don't even own any land. Well Sunday i have 8704 sq m, Monday I had none. I have sent 5 support tickets, called billing twice and Im'd every linden in world. As of now I can get no help. One actually said go to my land and donate the amount needed and group would be ok, well they took my land i have none to donate. so it is over a week later no help, no land, no group and out of all the money i spent.

they have been fiddling with group since sunday
toggling on and off certin group features
like land traffic
keep sending tickets
cand pester the crap outta them.

OMG someone got me in contact with a Linden and it took them all of 2 minutes to fix it. It took me a week, 5 tickets, 3 emails and iming every linden in sl to get help. Great company they got going for them. If most of us ran a company like that the street people population would grow by leaps and bounds. Thank you all for your help. Even those that thought i didn't deserve help because of my name. Thanks

Most people don't choose their RL name. This person did choose a name to evoke a certain response. If they get that response from people, it is their own fault.

And are you really saying that a jury or judge with "Karl Marx Jones or Adolph Hitler Smith" in front of them isn't going to take the name into account if it was picked by the defendant?

Glad to hear the issue was sorted out to your satisfaction, and especially that the problem was fixable - there are so many reported here that aren't.

As for names affecting perception, unfortunate but true. For instance, who would take seriously a grown man with a name like Babe Ruth? And as for having two strikes, the Babe, FWIW, held the longstanding record both for strikeouts and home runs.
