Sounds on the face of it, to be a cracking idea.. couple of small questions... what level of authentication is required (this is asked due to confidence of the receipient of the payment), and is there a charge for its services?

AWN Mars: When applying for the card, evidence of residence in the UK is required, ie Utility bill etc. It is the only evidence they require but is mandatory, due to the new money laundering laws. I am an acredited agent for APS services and brought the card into SL for those in the UK that are unable to get a CC or do not want to use a normal CC due to risks. This way u only have on the card what u intend to spend in game. I have been using mine for sometime in game and have had NO problems whatsoever with LL accepting it as payment. They offer 2 levels of fees, one a flat fee of £4.95 per month irrespective of the amount of use it gets or if u are only going to use it less than 5 times a month then u can opt for a transaction fee of £1 per use, handy if u only intend to use it for here thereby saving money. Oh Fugu: I have no idea why your normal Mastercard does not work however as i have just said i have never had it refused by LL CC processors, i might suggest that you get onto ur Mastercard issuer and ask why ur card is not working I have a normal CC but find this card a way to budget on SL as i load it each month with the budget allocated for here. HTH Usagi Musashi: Im sorry we dont operate in Japan yet but plans are in the pipeline to be able to issue the card overseas, I will keep you posted of any changes and its so good to see you happy for a change Hiew Voyager: As stated in the title it is a prepaid Mastercard, so yes a debit card with the same payment protection as offered to a full credit card holder, i believe we are the only UK prepaid CC that offers this level of service. I have been advertising the card in game at my locations for a while now and have had a good take up of the offer so far, its an option for those that want a reliable card for SL with the safety of payment protection

I see it then believe it. Some many western systems TRY to make it over here. But lasting for awhile before failing.
