Hello everyone I know this hasnt got much to do with SL. However because of what this store did I wanted to share with everyone a very sierious warning. I almost lost sl completly because of these crooks.

I spoke with you yesterday regarding my experience at ------- Names removed by Katt Linden -------------
In Banning.

So how it all started was when I took my computer in they told me that in a couple of days they would call give me an update. I never received a call Finally around 8:15pm on the 3rd day I get through only to be told I had a complete meltdown and hard drive failure.
They had a disk in my drive with a bunch of stuff on the screen that said failed. They told me there was nothing I could do ALL my data was lost. I ask him 3 separate times what they could do to save my computer. "Nothing you need a new hard drive" was the answer. and they wanted to charge me 100 extra dollars!
I said Excuse me. I know my computer is a little dated BUT A COMPLETE MELTDOWN?????? That cant be! I was online chatting to friends and my desktop was fine I just came in to have it cleaned up from some popups.

I refused to let them touch my computer tower again. I took out the weird looking disk and put windows xp in. I reinstalled windows thinking I have nothing to lose if it is really HArd drive failure.. In 30 Minutes I got my complete computer back including the wall paper for my windows screen!!!!!!!!!!
I check all my big programs... they were all still there and usable. I hopped online got on a voice chat called Skype which really works over the hard drive. I even opened a high graphics video game. IT WAS ALL THERE!!!
HArd Drive failure???? THEY HAD LIED!!!!!! 3 times!!!!!!
I took it home called our company's computer guy (lets call him Frank)

! Bring it over I am sure I can fix it.

I bring it over to his house on Wednesday got it back thursday evening. He said Sally there was never anything wrong with your computer.......It didn't even have a Virus......it just needed to have a couple of courpted files cleaned up!

main line and the guy was belligerent with me and rude even when I told them that I have the disk that fakes a black screen of death!
I am going to be turning this disk over to the authorities. I am also going to channel 4 news with this. Everyone needs to know about how deceitful ------- Names removed by Katt Linden -------------

They still have 100 dollars of my money.
if 100 measly bucks is worth standing their ground instead of admitting wrong then I guess the whole world should know.
