Just like to warn folks that if you get this message in you im do not go to the site and download the program, one it is a virus and two it is asking for ya sl username and password, i was glad that my antivirus picked it up b4 i downloaded it and installed it, and on the page if you read there the program is asking for ya sl username and password!! anyway just a warning folks,.

/me is curious..

If your virus detection hadn't warned you, would have have download the file and run it? Would you have put your SL username & password in?

Even moreso, Why would you even bother going to the site. It's an obvious scam. There is no money for nothing. Not in RL, Not in SL.

It's high time there was a warning, announcement, indication, something page somewhere thats easy to see to gather the ever growing threat risk to new residents. Point out the suspicious sites! Not just the good ones.
Maybe external "sites" need to be certified before they can connect or obtain info from residents.
i.e. SL Certified! I believe there is already a Net Certificate system in place to deal with this. It should be easy.

Sounds to me like a camping program. Run multiple avatars without graphics, defeat logoff for inactivity...that sort of thing. Not necessarily a scam, and if all you feed it are new, free accounts then there's no money at risk. Not that I condone such things.

JSYK it may not even be an actual virus.... some components (like Keyhook) are detected as virii(actually trojan/keylogger is more approriate) because they are frequently used in products that ARE virii/trojans/keloggers... but the component MAY have legit uses (such as an easy way to grab hotkeys across multiple apps)

You are absolutely right. Its a bot program designed specifically for camping. Perhaps one of the camp farmers in China got pissed off at their boss and let it loose to the public. Its kinda like SLeek or Ajaxlife. No grafix supported and a series of remote commands available so you can control the bot.
