Think of it as a facebook / youtube / myspace made specifically for SL!
It's quite and empty so please come help us build it up.
The focus of this forum is to create a place for SL residents to upload and store unlimited pictures, music, and video related to SL or even RL for that matter. Beyond that the focus of this forum is also to show SL in a positive light. With all the negativity I have seen I feel it's time to focus on the positive!
We are hoping to see people join and create a positive atmosphere there.
My initial plan was to have members join using their SL name and then give each member their own personal board on the forum. It's not required to register with your SL name though, that was merely my initial intention.
Additionally, it's not requried to have your own personal board but that is an option if you like the idea. You can have moderator powers of your own board thus you can totally control it as you see fit.You can use Xfire to record videos of your content or stores or clubs and then upload it into the site to promote your business.
If you have helpful information to share it is also welcome.
We are just getting started and are hoping to get helpful input from new members on ways to improve the site.
We are not trying to compete with this or other forums, we just felt there was a need for a location where SL members can upload and store unlimited pics, music and video for the purpose of promoting SL and for the purpose of entertaining each other.
Do you have hilarious pics from SL? Share them with us. Do you have video from SL to promote yourself? Come upload it so all can see.
If we can gain enough members we will implement prizes. We will be paying out Lindens for the best uploaded pics and videos!
