That site has big problems. I do not reccomend using it.
Tigress lacks any kind of positive attributes to the Service Market!
Please search my products on SL Boutitque and looking for better than SLX. If there are any other companies that do the same fuction, please pass that along.

You are in the great minority.
99.999% of people who use SLX are very pleased with it.
I find Tigress Stormwind to be a VERY helpful, nice person.
This says that you must be doing something wrong, IMO.

I do ALL my shopping on SL Exchange; I find it invaluable. My friends all shop there as well; one of them sells her stuff through the site. I've had to contact support only twice in all the time I've shopped there and Tigress was helpful and quick to respond on both occasions.

Echo the above positive comments. I've been using (selling and buying) through SLX for about 18 months and it's fantastic --- Tigress and Sami are also quick to answer any problems, the customer service is fantastic.

They are extermely judgemental and can be quite rude to users if they dont like something about them. In short they are unproffessional and can't keep their personal opinions of people to themsevles and its blatently obvious. If they dont like you they treat you like dirt regardless of how you treat them. If they dont like a product in some cases (and no i'm not talking about ripped off products or products they have stated they will not list) its suspected although not yet proven they will do everything in their power to drive you away. In short they lack the people skills to deal with all kinds of people they only want to deal with certain kinds of people and they tend to reveal things that they should nto be revealing to the public at large say private conversations i support ticket issues (seen this happen with other customers) They dont tend to like any negative feedback although they are trying to put up with it presently As for customer service I think its their as their answers are prompt but not necessarily appropriate or polite They refuse do deal with the issue of scamms and rip off properly they are not second life they are basically a consignment shop and when notified of scams etc should be dealing with them instantly instead of sitting on their hands waiting for dmca notices or lawyers to show up or the creator to show up If you walk into a store in the real world and are found to be selling hot goods you are considered an accessory after the fact. In short they allow the sale of "hot goods" and will do nothing until the actual creator contats them so if another merchant or client even goes to them will FULL and VALID information they do nothing. In the real world knowledge of possession of stolen goods gets you put in jail right along side the theif. Among other things they lack the ability to run a solid business at present anda re unsafe to deal with. I didn't believe it until I saw it myself, but now I do

I really like SL Exchange too... as far as I'm concerned, it's really the only way to shop in SL.
I know there are a few people who have problems with them, but frankly I can't think of a business that doesn't end up making at least a few people angry. I read the SLX forums every day, though, and clearly most of their customers and sellers are VERY happy with the service.

First of all, SLX doesn't sell lindens directly... just like the Lindex, it's an exchange where you are actually buying from or selling to other residents. The price is based on supply and demand, so it varies. SLX provides very clear and easy to find instructions. From the home page, select "SL Currency Exchange" from the top menu bar. From that page there is a link to step-by-step instructions for buying lindens, right under the bold red "Need help?" heading. Here's the link if you want to go there directly: http://slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=7

service and functionality

Been selling items on SLX for over a year... no problems what so ever. System is fast, reliable, and the interface is better than other sites offering a similar type of service.
I had one instance where I was trying to purchase and item, but the object was not recieved inworld. Assistance was provided within 15 minutes and was very professional.

My experience with SLX has been fantastic so far! I've even had the vendors contacting me to make sure I was happy with my object. One particular vendor was happy enough to send me a freebie too From what I've seen so far, the folk at SLX aim to please and try to fix any problems which do arise, quickly and politely.

I agree, very reliable and almost always running smooth. Sell my products for over half a year now on SLX, never ever had problems. SLB is fine too, but a bit slower sometimes and harder to edit products, but overall also quite good.
