This has to be a scam

I just saw a woman in Waterhead WA wearing a transparent cylinder with the caption "Click me for L$1" hovering over it. I asked her what it was about and she says it was a "job"£ she was offered. Every time someone clicks her, they get L$1 and she gets L$1 as well. Poor girl didn't realise that it wouldn't work in a place like the WA with scripts off.

Anyway. I did a bit of googling to see if I could find out what its about and I found this on SLX

I am sure this has to be a scam, anyone know what it really does?

It directs the victim to one of those "fill out our surveys" and "get free merchandise for buying our stuff" sites. I wouldn't trust my credit card info within a million miles of this type of website.

It feeds the hordes of the greedy and gullible. Then it feeds the greedy and gullible to the identity thieves. (=_=)

Yes, I noticed this line in the SLEX description:
"Now just put yourself where there is lots of people who might need L$. Let them click you and earn money at the site. You and the person who clicked you will be paid instantly."

I would assume 'the site' they refer to is the survey site. Bad stuff :(

So you can set up a non-standard client to keep creating alts and clicking another alt that you own until the perpetrator's $L are gone?

I have one of those buttons, and it works, but it's a little tricky for many people to find the right angle to click.

when you click, it directs you tto a page with a big red button that you can only click one every 24 hours. There is a list of surveys you can fil out, if you choose to, but 90% of them don't require your cc info. I happily made L2000 off a few, and the person whose button you clicked on gets $L also, but only half the amount you made.

Unfortunately, if leads to tons of junk mail.

This isn't meant as a promotion of the button, just an explanation.
