I have just added a new quick zoom feature to Snapzila. Underneath each thumbail image on the home page, there is now a magnifying glass. If you move the mouse over it, you will be shown the full version of the picture. This allows you to quickly browse through images without having to go into each detail page to see the picture. I will be adding the zoom feature throughout the site in the next few days. An example is shown below:

Hmmm for some reason, not sure why, the zoomed image seems to appear in the lowerlefthand corner of my screen and gets cut off? Also, I like the spotlight and recent comments featurettes but is there any way to temp hide them? They, again, make the middle part too thin for me. :( Thanxaroonie!!!

Wow Snapzilla is looking great. The Snapzilla Spotlight, the comments and the quick zoom are all awesome. Big ups to Snapzilla and all of your hard work.

Yeah, mine does that too. Great idea, though. :)

I'm using Safari - and the magnification works fine for the top most pic, but it has to be in the upper part the Safari window.

All other pics below the top most do not magnify properly, as stated above.

Excellent! feature Cris!

Your style sheet is probably cached - use the refresh button in your browser, and they should display fine.

As far as magnifying, my advice is to scroll so that there is enough room for the picture to display. The browser is moving it on its own - I have no control over it. If the picture is being cut off, just scroll the page up a little and it will display fine.

I have adjusted the picture offset to help - if the picture is being cut off, just scroll the page up a little so there is room for the whole picture to display first. I will put in a way to close the side when I get a chance.

What resolution are you at, btw?

Edit: I moved the magifying glass a little to help with lower resolutions. One thing I have found at low resolutions - if you are at a lower resolution and the picture is appearing to the left, not to the right, mouseover the zoom icon from the left side, not from the right side and it should display fine.

I am at 1024x768 bog standard. And now it seems to work much better, yessoo so thanxies Ano!

Is there a way to temp hide the rightmost column with the Showcase+Comments? Unfortunately on lower resolutions things get really squashed. :( Like maybe a checkbox or something... I think I saw you do that before for something else!

I am going to make it so you can close the right hand panel, I just haven't had a chance to get to it yet today :)

Cristiano is such a pimp. SUCH. A. PIMP.

Snapzilla is almost cooler than SL now.
