Glad you like it, Rob.
I not that although I have sl-forums.com in my site list, Google Coop is not returning any results from that forum. I don't know why. It might have to do with the hyphen in the url. If that is it, I don't know what to do about it. If that's not it, I don't know what else it could be, unless the sl-forums people have told Google not the include their pages in its results list. How useful would it be to have a search that includes only specific topic forums from multiple sites, such as only the scripting forums at sluniverse, secondcitizen, etc. ? _____________________

I have noticed that the SL website seems to crash/change my login status at intermitent intervals. For instance I can read blogs, then swap to the forums, stay logged in while I switch to the blogs, but upon returning to the forums, I have to login again, despite the header at the top of the page saying 'Welcome, AWM Mars.' still!
Maybe the connection is being dropped to often? _____________________

Please feel free to add Stratics - http://sl.stratics.com - to your site, although you may get a better result from adding the boards URL directly: http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/sl/ubbthreads.php

Please feel free to add Stratics I also have a separate Google Coop search engine that searches the entire sites for sluniverse, second citizen, stratics.com/content/portals/sl* , and sl-forums, and the Linden Lab seccondlife.com site. This is like Harry Linden's Linden only Coop search page, but it returns more than his site does. More is not, of course, always better. That one is at Second Life Resident Sites Search . This includes in the results everything at those sites, not just forum posts. One can just do a regular Google search and get all these results, but only with every other website in Google's engine thrown in the mix. One can use the advance search Google page to get results from just one site, or put the site: <sitename> in the regular Google search field to get a result from just one site. Effective searching doesn't necessarily mean getting the most results, it means getting the optimum results, which means getting all the ones you want and none of the ones you don't want. What would really be nice would be something that would let you set up a list with checkboxes for sites, so you could have a list that would have SLUniverse, then sub-items for snapzilla, forums, editorials, etc. with a checkboxes for each part of the site. and the same for each other site in the list. Making something like that would require knowledge and work, however, and I don't have the knowledge and I'm too lazy to do the work for free unless it's fun. Making a Google Coop search , though, takes zero knowledge other than the url for Google Coops, and almost zero extremely easy work. As with the forum only search page, the whole site search doesn't return any results for sl-forums, for reasons I don't understand. _____________________

Do you meant Linden's secondlife.com or the resident run site sl-forums.com? Secondlife.com does odd things at times, but then I use Opera as my browser, so I am used to things ganging slightly agley at times. I mean the secondlife.com forums. Strange how it still says 'Welcome AWM Mars' at the top of the screen even while I'm having to log back in LOL.. _____________________
